does it really?
people more often then not blame their upbringing for who they are, what they do.
"I can't help it, because its me."
but does it really matter all that much?
maybe its just a really weak excuse for not wanting to try,
or try harder.
maybe its so we don't have to have a logical explanation for our each and every action,
maybe its so that we can just get away with doing what we do.
whatever it is,
we're just too proud to admit our faults.
so is it nature or nurture?
i don't believe that just because you grow up in a materialistic society, it means you have to be materialistic as well.
what's with the need to follow the crowd to fit in?
what's with the blatant unacceptance of people who differ just a little from you?
why can't we embrace each other's differences,
instead of condemning them?
whatever the matter,
whatever the cause,
i still believe it can be done. :)
