things i want to do. :)

there are some things that just beckon to me,
with a soft glow that's practically impossible to resist!

i want to sit on a ferris wheel,
and go high high high up,
with all the world at my feet to see.

i want to take a long long trip on a train,
with all the modern comforts
and all the good conversations of the world.

i want to go to rome,
and visit all the ancient places,
hording secrets of the past.

i want to see the lourve,
and marvel at the many works of art,
and bask in its majesty.

i want to just drive along
a road so long and winding,
with the wind blowing in my hair,
and a companion who knows my heart.

i want to see the geishas of japan,
and be still in their intricate tranditions,
and respect their subtle grace.

i want to go fishing
in a wide open space,
where fish are put there by nature
and not men.

i want to dance,
with a full skirt,
that bellows my joy whenever i spin.

i want to watch all my favourite disney classics,
like the rescuers, and fievel and the sword in the stone
and goodness knows what else i can remember.

i want to rock in a band,
banging the drums so hard,
the audience wonders when the skin will break.

i want to be in japan during the sakura season,
and feel the soft petals falling down on me,
a whisper of God's beauty.

i want to go to shibuya
or harajuku!
and shop till i drop!

i want to see the magnificant pyramids in eygpt,
and attempt to be cursed by the mummy
and scorn it when i realise its untruth.

i want to touch the coolness of the effiel tower,
go right to the top,
and gasp at the stunning view.

so many things to do,
and one lifetime.
is it ever enough?
