the flawed place.
i think its amazing how someone goes to church,
and expects to agree with everything there,
in the way that s/he expects the church to be perfect.
i blink at the ignorance of people who seem to have joined the church,
in order to criticise it.
when will they realise they are only eroding the church's foundation
and killing their eternal souls?
what's the deal with perfection
and expecting it from people who are imperfect?
i'm wondering when the glorious church will come.
everyone is so caught up in the concept of fun,
of not being boring,
that no one's bothering about the fundamentals anymore.
everyone is worrying about being legalistic,
about seeming too spiritual,
of being a stick-in-the-mud
that fundamentals get washed away by the squall.
i admit,
there are people i don't admire in church,
there are people whom i want to go up and SMACK IN THE FACE - sometimes.
there are things i don't like that go on in the church,
like this 'ranking' system thing.
oh, you don't have a sheep?
you're not spiritual.
ITS NOT THAT YOU KNOW.
who are we to judge the maturity of others based on physical appearances?
i say: put them through the fire,
no matter who they are.
leaders shouldn't hang on to the fact that they'll always be leaders.
those under them should learn how to discern and stop commenting on how they don't like this leader because of this or that.
*sighs.
it all boils down to this:
why are we always expecting perfection,
when none of us are perfect?
hoo boy God,
will i be glad when you return.
must be pretty cushy up there huh?
not having to deal with all the nitwits on earth face to face.
in times like this,
i can understand why God got so angry with us.
truly.
"Oh look! A wall that if I bang into will break my head into a million itty bitty pieces! But I shall still bang anyway, because it's fun!"
-a sentence that sums up we homosepians.
